Tractor Trailer Repair Shop in Blacksburg

Professional Electric provided the complete electrical installation for this new 4,000-square-foot tractor-trailer repair facility in Blacksburg, SC. Constructed to complement an already established truck wash, the new facility features three service bays with 20-foot ceilings and a full-length service pit, creating a one-stop location for truck washing, maintenance, and repairs.



The project included a 400-amp, 120/208-volt, 3-phase underground electrical service with a single 400-amp distribution panel serving the entire facility. We installed complete lighting and power systems throughout the building, including dedicated circuits for a 10 HP air compressor and two 208-volt, 50-amp welder receptacles. The shop, storage area, and mezzanine are illuminated with high-output 22,000-lumen LED UFO fixtures, while recessed LED wafer lights provide clean, modern lighting in the lobby, break room, and restrooms. Six LED exterior wall pack fixtures provide bright, energy-efficient illumination around the building.

Our scope also included wiring for the service pit, HVAC equipment, receptacles, restroom exhaust fans, and all supporting electrical systems required for the facility's daily operation. Every light fixture installed on this project utilizes energy-efficient LED technology to deliver excellent visibility while minimizing maintenance and energy costs.
